BDSwiss Registration for UAE Clients

The moment you hit "register," you are opening a relationship with a legal entity. Before you type your email, you need to know which entity is on the other side of that form and what protection it actually offers. For a trader in the UAE, that distinction matters.

BDSwiss routes UAE clients through its offshore entities, BDS Markets (FSC Mauritius) and BDSwiss (Seychelles) Ltd (FSA SD047). The local office holds a UAE Securities & Commodities Authority (SCA) Category 5 licence for Financial Consultations and Introduction. Trade execution sits offshore. This is a structural fact you should verify before depositing.

The Registration Reality

The signup flow is standard: email, password, country, then KYC document upload. For UAE residents, you will need a government-issued ID and proof of address. The platform primarily settles in USD and EUR, not AED.

There is no verified AED-denominated account. Your base currency will be USD or EUR, which means you absorb a small conversion cost on deposit and withdrawal.

What Licence Does BDSwiss Hold?

BDSwiss holds an SCA Category 5 licence in the UAE, which covers advisory and introduction services. The account you trade on is serviced by the Seychelles FSA (SD047) or Mauritius FSC entities. That offshore status means there is no UAE investor-compensation scheme covering your trading account.

The SCA licence is real, but it does not regulate the execution of your CFD trades. The distinction is simple: the licence covers advisory and introduction, not the activity that generates your P&L.

Account Options and Real Costs

BDSwiss offers four main account tiers.

AccountMin DepositETH/USD SpreadCommissionSwap-Free
Cent~$10StandardNoNo
Classic~$10~1.3 pipsNoYes
VIP$250~1.0–1.1 pipsNoYes
Raw/Zero$500From 0.0 pips~$5/lot round-turnNo

The Raw account offers a 0.0 pip spread with a $5 round-turn commission on forex. Some indices and shares CFDs carry additional commission. The Classic account spreads at ~1.3 pips on ETH/USD with no commission.

Leverage: Know Your Numbers

Leverage on the offshore entity goes up to 1:2000, with a default around 1:400. The UAE mainland regulator (SCA/CMA) caps retail leverage around 1:50 on major FX pairs, while the DFSA in DIFC applies ~1:30 aligned with EU standards.

At 1:2000, a 0.05% adverse move wipes out your margin. The default 1:400 is still aggressive. Size positions on the assumption that leverage magnifies losses as efficiently as it magnifies gains.

The higher leverage is not a feature of local protection-you are not covered by a UAE retail leverage cap. Discipline must come from you.

Funding and Withdrawal Timeline

Funding options include cards, bank/wire, and e-wallets like Skrill and Neteller. Card deposits are typically instant; bank transfers take 1–2 business days. AED-specific local rails are not verified at review.

The KYC Process in the UAE

For UAE residents, KYC requires your Emirates ID, or passport for non-residents, plus proof of address such as a utility bill, bank statement, or tenancy contract. The documents must match the name on the trading account exactly. Mismatched names are the most common reason for delayed verification.

You will also face standard AML and source-of-funds checks on larger transfers. The UAE has no exchange controls; the AED is pegged to the USD and capital moves freely.

Regulatory History

BDSwiss exited the EU and UK after losing CySEC and FCA licences. The brand is now offshore-focused via Mauritius and Seychelles, with the SCA licence for MENA expansion.

Dispute resolution would follow Seychelles or Mauritius law, not UAE law. If the relationship sours, your recourse is through a smaller regulatory framework than the FCA or CySEC.

The broker is not verified on any UAE regulator warning list as of the review. The counterweight is the absence of a local compensation scheme for offshore trading accounts.

What Discipline Looks Like

Wait for the confirmation email. Fund after approval, not before. Test the withdrawal process with a small amount before you trust the platform with your full trading capital.

Global CFD trading for active traders

Traders who want to trade CFDs on a global platform with a wide instrument range. BDSwiss offers 250+ instruments across forex, shares, indices, commodities, and 26+ cryptocurrencies. MT4/MT5 support is reliable, and the low minimum deposit on the Cent account makes it useful for strategy testing.

The Islamic account option on Classic and VIP accounts is practical for this region. Swap-free execution removes the overnight interest concern that conflicts with Sharia principles.

Not suited for:Traders who require a strong local regulator like the FCA or DFSA to oversee execution. If compensation scheme coverage is non-negotiable, the offshore structure is a dealbreaker. Traders who want to settle in AED or avoid FX conversion costs will find the USD/EUR base currency structure inefficient.

If you are in the DIFC or ADGM and prefer a regulator within your free zone, look at brokers licensed by the DFSA. Use BDSwiss for what it is: an efficient offshore execution venue with a local advisory presence, not a locally regulated brokerage.
